The Season of Lent
March 1st begins the Season of Lent and another opportunity for us to worship, with special services held on the Wednesdays before Easter. This year we will be led by the Apostle John who was instructed by the one identifying Himself as "The first and the last, the living One who died and is alive forevermore; who has the keys of Death and Hades", to write a letter to the seven churches in Asia Minor. We will look at these Churches and see what was good about them and what was bad. But most important, we will find out how each Church needed Jesus to help it, and that will better help and equip our church according to our strengths and needs in ministry and outreach.
As your pastor, I invite you to come and worship during these mid-week Services because the Word of God is being declared, that we may worship our God and gladly hear His Word.
A simple supper of soup and bread will be served prior to the service on Wednesdays, starting at 5:30. All are welcome.
March 1: Ash Wednesday with Holy Communion: The Church in Ephesus
March 8: The Church in Smyrna
March 15: The Church in Pergamum

March 29: The Church in Sardis

And may the Word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in you hearts to God.
Sincerely in Christ Jesus,
Pastor Dean Rudloff
